EARL GREY WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM

ICED TEA
2 TSP

600ML  HOT WATER (80°C)
4-6 SCOOPS
VANILLA ICE CREAM

125G  ICING SUGAR
MARK OF 1/4
VANILLA POD
115G FLOUR
10G COCOA POWDER
15G VEGAN SUBSTITUTE FOR EGG WHITES (E.G. MYEY)

Preparation

Who needs Viennese Iced Coffee when you can have Iced Earl Grey with Vanilla Ice Cream? Delicious KISSA Earl Grey meets gentle vanilla ice cream a combination which you’ll never forget. 

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Whisk margarine, icing sugar and vanilla pulp in the mixer for about 5 minutes. Add flour, cocoa powder and KISSA Earl Grey Tea Powder Rockstar’s Magic and whisk well.

Separately whisk egg white substitute, salt and 75 ml water in the mixer for about 6 minutes. Add the mixture to the dough, a little at a time, until incorporated. Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with an 8 mm nozzle. Pipe stripes (10 cm long) on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving about 5 cm space between them. Bake cookies for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with sugar and bake for another 5 minutes.

Force KISSA Earl Grey Tea Powder Rockstar’s Magic through a fine sieve, add the hot water and whisk with a bamboo whisk until frothy. Leave to cool completely.

Scoop vanilla ice cream into glasses, add cold tea and serve with the cat’s tongue cookies.
