The challenge is simple:
Drink at least one serving of matcha per day. One serving is 2 grams or half a teaspoon. Matcha can be consumed as a tea, in a latte or smoothie, as a dietary supplement, or in recipes of your choice. Keep a few things in mind:

  • When preparing matcha tea or latte, the water or milk should not be hotter than 80 degrees Celsius, otherwise the nutrients will be broken down and the taste could become bitter.
  • We recommend drinking your matcha immediately after preparation.
  • Matcha should ideally be stored in the refrigerator after opening to preserve its freshness for longer.
  • While baking or cooking with matcha will add a beautiful color and great flavor, it will compromise the nutrients. For the same benefits, we recommend raw recipes.
