Vanilla Matcha Mousse

This mousse is more than just dessert – it’s a gentle moment of calm, light and airy on the tongue, and entirely plant-based. The subtle sweetness of vanilla meets the fresh, green elegance of matcha to create a flavor experience that’s both comforting and delightfully unexpected.
Perfect for special occasions, as a refined dinner treat, or simply when you want to indulge yourself – with minimal effort and maximum wow.

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 3 tbsp KISSA Vanilla Matcha Latte Mix

  • 250 ml plant-based cream (e.g. soy, oat, or coconut)

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional – sweeten to taste)

  • 2 g agar-agar powder (plant-based gelling agent)

  • 50 ml water


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the agar-agar. Stir the agar-agar into 50 ml cold water in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 2 minutes while stirring.

  2. Whip the cream. In a mixing bowl, whip the plant-based cream until fluffy. Add maple syrup if you like it sweeter.

  3. Mix in the matcha. Stir 3 tbsp of KISSA Vanilla Matcha Latte Mix into the agar-agar mixture until fully dissolved. Let it cool just a bit.

  4. Combine. Gently fold the warm matcha-agar mix into the whipped cream. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  5. Chill. Spoon into small glasses or ramekins and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
