Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte
Strawberry Meets Vibrant Green Matcha
Pink, white, green – this drink looks like a little work of art. Our Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte combines fruity strawberry syrup, cold-frothed plant milk and freshly whisked Matcha into a gradient from pink to green. The showstopper for Your next brunch with friends.
Why You'll Love This Strawberry Matcha Latte
Strawberry Matcha is everywhere right now – and for good reason: sweet, fruity strawberry and finely bitter Matcha are a perfect match. Strawberry syrup adds sweetness at the bottom, creamy cold-frothed barista plant milk sits in the middle and vibrant green Matcha with a fine micro-foam floats on top. We use KISSA Matcha Basic – its intense flavour stays clear even next to strawberry and milk foam. Only stir once everyone has admired the layers.
Tips for the Perfect Strawberry Matcha Layer
Sift the Matcha before whisking to avoid lumps, and keep the water at 80 °C or below. For the best gradient, add the ice cubes first, then the strawberry syrup, followed by the frothed plant milk. Pour the Matcha in slowly at the very end. Fancy a DIY version? Instead of store-bought syrup, a homemade strawberry purée for Matcha works too: simply blend fresh strawberries with a little sugar. A few strawberry slices as garnish complete the look.
