Inspired by Japanese tea culture and refined with the freshness of sun-ripened raspberries, this tiramisu is a reinterpretation of the Italian classic. Delicate, creamy, and with the subtle touch of KISSA Matcha – elegant rather than heavy, vibrant rather than overpowering.

Whether for guests, a romantic dinner, or simply for yourself: This dessert not only impresses visually, but also seduces with a unique flavor composition of tart green tea, sweet berry aroma, and airy mascarpone cream.

The recipe:

Matcha Tiramisu with Raspberries (for about 4 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 250 g mascarpone

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese

  • 50 g sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tsp KISSA Matcha Basic

  • 100 ml warm water

  • 12–16 ladyfingers

  • 250 g fresh raspberries

  • Optional: KISSA Matcha for dusting

Preparation:

  1. Mix the cream: Mix the mascarpone, quark, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  2. Prepare Matcha: Whisk KISSA Matcha with 100 ml of warm (not hot) water – ideally with a bamboo whisk or a small whisk – until a fine-pored foam forms.

  3. Soak the ladyfingers: Prepare a shallow dish. Briefly dip the ladyfingers into the whipped matcha and line the base with them.

  4. Layer: Pour half of the cream over the soaked biscuits and spread evenly. Then add a layer of raspberries. Repeat the process with another layer of matcha biscuits and the remaining cream.

  5. Chill & Serve: Chill for at least 2 hours—overnight is even better. Dust with matcha and garnish with fresh raspberries before serving.
