Ingredients (for approx. 15–18 pieces)

2 tsp KISSA Matcha Basic

225 g vegan margarine

60 g icing sugar

1 pinch of salt

2 cardamom pods

½ tsp each finely grated organic orange and lemon peel

300 g flour
Preparation

In a food processor, mix margarine, powdered sugar, matcha, salt, and citrus peel until creamy.

Roughly crush the cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle, separating the seeds and husks. Grind the seeds into a fine powder.

Fold the cardamom powder and flour into the mixture, knead into a dough and wrap in cling film.

Let the dough chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Roll out on a floured work surface to a thickness of 3–4 mm and cut out various ornaments and shapes.

Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 170°C for 8-10 minutes.
