Ingredients (for one glass)
- 2 tsp KISSA Matcha Beauty Powder
- 60 ml hot water (approx. 80 °C)
- 200 ml plant-based milk
- 4–5 fresh cherries (pitted) or 2 tbsp cherry purée
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the cherry base:
Blend the fresh cherries with maple syrup into a smooth purée. Pour the mixture into the bottom of your glass. - Add milk and ice:
Gently pour the plant-based milk over the cherry base. Add a handful of ice cubes to keep the drink cool and support the layered effect. - Whisk the matcha:
Sift the matcha powder into a bowl, add hot water, and whisk with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and frothy. - Layer and serve:
Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk. This creates the signature green swirl on top of the creamy layers. You can stir it before drinking or enjoy it as a layered delight.
